Programs
All programs will be running in school during term time
and school holidays. Our aim is to provide a quality school programs in a safe,
welcoming environment where the emphasis is on having fun and providing a
positive learning experience for all children and young learners.

After-school programs are available to students in all grades.
Foreign Language Courses
- English, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean
English Language Arts
- Grammar Skills, Writing Skills, Creative Writing, Reading Comprehension, Drama, Phonics, Literature
UOL will provide native speaking teachers who have had previous experience
in teaching children and young learners. We use methods specially adapted
for young learners based on using the language, with fun activities forming
a significant part of the program.

To enable students to do better in their school work and prepare to excel in
their examinations, we offer a wide range of Exam Preparation
Courses at all grades.
Exam Preparation Courses
- GCSE / IGCSE, HKCEE, A Level / AS Level, SAT, IB
UOL offer small class size and a supportive atmosphere that
will assist students rapidly overcome their difficulties in school work and
gradually develop their academic to the full. We have an excellent track record
of success helping students excel in their courses and exams.

- From the day program starts, UOL will assign a course
consultant who will be the primary contact point for the school and parents.
- With many years of experience, UOL continues to adhere
to the highest standards of language instructions.
- As with all our programs, we are dedicated to
providing our students with experienced and qualified teachers and the most
up-to-date curriculum and materials available.
- Groups will be small because we think this encourages
their involvement in the class.
- During the class time, students will work through all
aspects of language skills in a fun and effective manner.
- All students will be assessed at the beginning of the
program and evaluated regularly throughout the course to check their progress
of improvements.
- Students will receive a term report each school term,
and a certificate upon completion of the program indicating their
accomplishments.
- We have an excellent track record of success helping
students excel in their exams.
Our instruction is tailored to students in terms of age, level and individual needs.
We will employ a mixture of teaching styles, where students will be offered a variety of learning opportunities to
accommodate their needs. Whether students work individually or in small groups, we prepare interactive teaching and
learning activities encompassing visual, verbal and physical motion approaches to help students encounter new
information, develop skills, try out ideas and build knowledge.
As students will each benefit in their own mode, at the same time, we encourage them to develop their ability to learn
in different approaches. By doing this we can assist them in becoming more effective learners.
Progress Report is updated by teacher after each lesson. The report states lesson contents, class participation
and additional comments on how well each student is able to learn. It will be submitted for review by our learning and
development staff to keep track of students' progress.
Term Report is distributed to student at the end of term. The purpose of this report is to provide the student
and parents with an indication of student's progress to date with a grade. It does not represent an official
certificate.
Certificate is awarded to student who completes a full school year studies. The certificate will record the
course name, starting / finishing dates and level of proficiency. It will be signed by your teacher and our director.

Students will be given a two dimensional assessment before
program delivery. Their Language Skills are evaluated to provide information
about their level of linguistic knowledge, as well as Learning Styles are
identified to better understand their different attitudes about learning, and
hence suggest learning strategies that will help students study in a productive
manner.
UOL teachers are qualified and trained professionals with
solid experience in the teaching of their mother-tongue as a foreign language.
Some have taught in local and/or international schools of Hong Kong before joining
our team. They are chosen for their energy, enthusiasm and their ability to communicate
with young learners.
In teaching all language programs, textbooks and a range of
supplementary materials (e.g. CD-ROMs, video-cassettes, films, newspaper
articles and magazines) are used during class time. For exam preparation and
academic courses, the teaching materials are custom made by the teachers
according to their long experience.
